Our Community

Giving back to the community

We believe in giving back to the local community “helping those in our own backyard” through a variety of avenues, including local Sporting Clubs and Charities.
We were lucky enough to be invited to tour the Foodbank facilities in Yarraville and were blown away with the operations – set up. Not only that, but we had no idea of the breadth of outstanding work and support that the volunteers and workers provide to Victorians in need.

About Foodbank Victoria 

One of the charities we support is Foodbank Victoria. No-one should be allowed to go hungry.
Whether it’s everyday emergencies or in times of crisis, Foodbank Victoria has been providing vital food relief to vulnerable Victorians for more than 90 years. Through their network of more than 530 charity partners across the State, they can provide 1.2 million meals a month to Victorians in need. And while supporting their charity partners is at the core of what they do, as the State’s dedicated emergency food relief organisation, they’re also there to assist Victorians through times of crisis.
Foodbank’s vision is healthy food for all. They believe that all Victorians should have regular access to healthy food. That’s why they work with partners right across the food and grocery sector, from farmers and growers right through to retailers, to source and rescue essential food and grocery items to redistribute to Victorians in need.
In partnership with the Victorian government, they also deliver Victoria’s largest School Breakfast Clubs Program to the State’s most disadvantaged schools. The program is currently offered in more than 1,000 Victorian Government primary, secondary, P-12 and specialist schools.
For every $1 they receive, they’re able to provide 2 meals for someone in need. Every dollar donated is two meals created. It’s that simple.
